You should be back at the main CuteFTP32 window now. From now on, when you start CuteFTP, it will come up in Quick Connect mode, but until you restart the program, the new settings haven't taken effect, so you can click on the button that looks like a lightning bolt (look at image of toolbar below).
Then, a window appears with the heading Quick Connect as shown below:

Click on OK.
Click OK
Now a window with the heading CuteFTP 1.8 appears as
shown below:

This window has two divisions with a list of files, the one on the right side is the remote directory and the one on the left is local directory.
The remote directory is the directory in the web site you have made your connection to, such as web.indstate.edu or sapphire.indstate.edu.
The local directory can be a directory on your computer's hard drive or floppy drive. It can be even your local network account ( example : F:\kenb ) if you are logged in to your network account. To transfer files from your local network account (Example: coral or amber or ruby ) , you have to be logged in your network account.
Note: File(s) can also be uploaded or downloaded by selecting file(s) by using the mouse and keeping the left mouse key depressed, dragging it to the list of local directory files or remote initial directory files as per requirement.
To disconnect current connection or to make a new connection to a site, click on the FTP menu item and select Disconnect or Quick Connect option from this pull down menu.
To exit this FTP program, click on FTP menu item and select Exit from the pull down menu.
