McAfee AntiVirus Distribution

The Office of Information Technology has purchased licenses for McAfee VirusScan, one of the leading virus protection software applications in the world. McAfee VirusScan protects against viruses and Trojan horses, as well as malicious ActiveX and Java Applets. It quarantines infected files before they damage your system and provides help with suspected infections directly from McAfee Inc.

McAfee is available to all enrolled students for personal, non-commercial use. Use of the software is restricted to personal computers only. Copies of the McAfee VirusScan software may also be installed on machines at home.

Download Information

You may download McAfee VirusScan, free of charge, by going to download.indstate.edu. Your Sycamore login and password are required in order to download McAfee VirusScan. If you are using dial-up and own a portable drive, please download McAfee VirusScan from any of our fast-access computer labs.
