Information Technology is releasing the Microsoft Campus Agreement 3.5 for individual use at home. The Microsoft Campus Agreement 3.5 (MSCA) is an annual licensing program that allows current faculty and most staff to install some of today’s most popular Microsoft products on one (1) personally owned computer; and an additional copy of the software on a second, portable device (e.g. notebook computer, or tablet PC) for the exclusive use of the primary user of the first copy of the software either at home, or in her or his office. Student employees are not eligible for this program.
An eligible employee can obtain the software by doing the following:
Download software here.
NOTE: Support for home computers is not included. Before installing ANY software, please visit our FAQ page and see the questions, "Is support for home computers included," and "If the software makes my personally-owned computer non-functional or problematic, what do I do."
The employee is responsible for compliance with all software license terms. If the employee leaves the University, retires, or if ISU decides not to renew the Campus Agreement the individual is responsible for purchasing or removing the software. For more information, visit our FAQ page and see the question, "What if ISU decides not to renew the Microsoft Campus Agreement."
Departments may not loan CD’s to individuals for use on personally owned computers. Faculty and staff must download a separate copy of the software for use on personally owned computers.
