Quiet Lab (SCC 106) Guidelines
The purpose of the Quiet Lab is to provide students with a work area conducive to tasks which require a high level of concentration. It is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week while classes are in session, though it is sometimes reserved for classes.
To keep the Quiet Lab quiet, we maintain the following guidelines for its use.
- Follow all General Lab Guidelines
- No talking - group projects should be done elsewhere
- No headphones
- No cellphones -If you must keep your cell on, we ask that you turn it to silent mode and answer it in the hallway
- No pagers
- Any activity that disturbs other patrons is prohibited
Any students who are in violation of these guidelines will be asked to leave the Quiet Lab and instead use one of our other Labs.
