Osher members enjoy interactive and participatory teaching and learning environments. Generally, programs require no homework, out-of-class preparation, or testing.
Although highly unlikely, we do have occasional cancelations due to weather or under-enrollment or some other circumstance beyond the Institute’s control. Members will be notified of cancellations to programs they have registered for by phone or email. Cancellation of programs that do not require registration will be posted on our website, by phoning the ISU information line 812-237-7777 and will be posted with area closings and cancellation on WTHI and WTWO TV stations. If a program is canceled due to weather we will do our best to reschedule the program for a different date. If you have paid for a program that has been rescheduled but are not able to attend on the new date, a refund or credit will be provided.
Programs that require an additional fee (courses, special events, & Saturday Series) can be canceled and the cost refunded or credited if done more than a week in advance of the program start date. A $30 fee will be charged for returned checks.
We accommodate persons with disabilities. Please call 812-237-2336, and the Program Administrators office will contact you to discuss your needs. To ensure accommodation, please register at least two weeks before the start of the program.
The OLLI at Indiana State University is committed to providing programs and activities to all persons, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, disability, and veteran status.
