As the Degree Completion Recruiter, Cindy helps new and prospective students who are interested in the online learning and degree-completion programs. She will assist the students from the initial inquiry through the start of classes to ensure the ISU online experience is a smooth transition. Cindy will also work closely with the academic, communication and marketing departments where she will plan marketing and promotion activities to recruit transfer students for the online degree-completion programs. As the Student Services Concierge, Melissa provides vital services to new and prospective online students by answering questions about the program and serving as an advocate to help resolve problems. She also directs students to helpful campus services, resources, and additional information.

Samantha Penney

As the Distance Education Director, Samantha helps to facilitate the development of online courses. Additionally, she also manages the day-to-day operation of the online learning program, generates nearly 50,000 credit hours per year, and works to increase student enrollments, course quality, and student success. She serves as an advocate for faculty and students of various campus departments and services, and works to ensure that the ISU online experience is a fulfilling one.

Course Delivery Coordinator

As the Course Delivery Coordinator, Nick supports faculty by assisting with scheduling classes that have both live and distance components needing a synchronous meeting time or utilizing the distance origination rooms. He also provides technical staffing and support for the Distance Origination Studio, and software training and support for faculty and students using distance applications, specifically Elluminate Live!, Tegrity, and IP video conferencing.

Training and support are always available on a one-on-one or group basis. Making technology a tool for the enrichment of a class rather than a hindrance is his highest priority. Indiana State Online Students Residing Outside of Indiana: Each of the states has its own approval processes for out-of-state institutions offering online degrees. While Indiana State University endeavors to offer all of its programs to as wide an audience as possible, all ISU online programs may not be available in all states. Currently, online programs are not offered in the state of Massachusetts. To check the status of programs available in a particular state, visit program availability.

Indiana State University online programs are closed to all students residing in a country other than the United States, including U.S. Territories, or Canada, except U.S. military and State Department personnel and their family members with APO/FPO addresses.
