Once your Sycamore Login is activated, please make note of your username and password, you will use
this information to reserve your place at New Student Orientation, as well as to access your Sycamore
Step 2: Take Placement Exams
As a newly admitted student, you must take the mathematics placement examination prior to orientation
in order to register for the appropriate math course. Please note: this will not be offered during
orientation and students will not be eligible to register for a math course until it is completed.
The math placement exam is available to be taken online at www.indstate.edu/testing and typically takes
less than an hour to complete. To login, you will need your student ID number (991######) found on the
letter included in this packet.
You may also be interested in taking a non-native language placement test. Details are listed on the web
site below on who should take the test prior to New Student Orientation.
As a new student, you are required by the State of Indiana Department of
Health to complete and return health and immunization documents prior to
attending New Student Orientation. Immunization Records can be submitted electronically at

Step 7: Submit Final Materials
Submit final materials to the Office of Admissions:

Final high school transcript (upon graduation)
Final college transcripts (most recent semester completed or dual credit course work)
Newest SAT or ACT scores if taken multiple times
In addition, students who have not already done so should submit the $25.00 (nonrefundable) application fee.
