State Engage

State Engage is a time for students to participate in campus traditions; explore university resources; and engage with advisors, faculty, and fellow students to create plans for their next four years. Check out the tentative schedule below for more on what to expect from State Engage. Detailed information including locations that are specific to you will be sent to your Sycamore email address closer to the start of the semester.

Friday, August 13th

     Find Your Blue Hunt starts on your State Start-Up Blackboard at 8:00 am

Saturday, August 14th

     Floor Meetings - Check with your RA for your time     
     HMSU Takeover (7:00-10:00pmOptional
     Party on the Patio (7:00-10:00pm) Optional

Sunday, August 15th

     12:30pm - Mentor Meet-ups
     1:00pm - Sycamore Welcome
     2:00pm - Hacking College with your Transition Mentor
     3:00pm - Tips and Tricks with your Academic Advisor
     4:00pm - Hometown Hangouts
     5:00pm - Commuter Connections (Commuter Students only, dinner provided. Dinner for students living on-campus available in Sycamore Dining with use of meal plan) 

Monday, August 16th

     9:00am - Donaghy Day (Lunch available following your groups service event available in Sycamore Dining with use of meal plan)
     1:00pm - Involvement Fair
     3:00pm - Mentor Meet Ups
     3:15pm - My Major, My Career
     5:00pm - Where are My Classes? with your Transition Mentor
     6:00pm - March Through the Arch     
     Find Your Blue Hunt closes on Blackboard at Midnight
