Travel Fund Grants

 

The Office of the Provost has provided funds to the Office of Sponsored Programs to help grant writers visit funding agencies and support other travel directly related to preparing competitive proposals. If you would like to request travel support to meet with collaborators or program officers to assist in the development of a proposal,  please send a request to the Office of Sponsored Programs including the following information.  If you have other questions, please call the Office of Sponsored Programs at x3088. 

  • Who you plan to visit?
     
  • Where you plan to visit?
     
  • The purpose of the visit.
     
  • Why the trip is essential to the development of your proposal?
     
  • What costs you expect to incur (an estimated travel budget)?
     

Though not required, matching support from Departmental or College resources is encouraged.
