The College of Graduate and Professional Studies and the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) announce the COLLABORATE program, aimed at encouraging researchers from all areas of ISU to come together to develop grant proposals. The COLLABORATE program is an initiative under goal 5 of the ISU strategic plan, Pathways to Success and provides collaborators with stipends of $500 per investigator to further their research. To qualify for the stipends, researchers must 1) participate in one of four speed-networking events, where they will share their grant interests and 2) partner and submit a grant proposal to an external granting agency.
The first COLLABORATE speed-networking event for health-related research will be held September 25 at 4:00 pm. in the 9th floor lounge area of HMSU. To register for this event, complete the researcher profile at this link. Food and beverage will be provided at this event.
If you cannot attend the Sept.25th event but would like to share your research interests related to health issues please submit a research profile and we will share it with the group.
If you have questions regarding the COLLABORATE program and/or the Health Issues Networking event please contact Liz Metzger at ext. 3228 or firstname.lastname@example.org
This program is intended to provide tenured and tenure-track faculty with research experiences and resources to enhance the overall competitiveness of ISU grant proposals. The COMPETE grants will serve as the foundation for future grant submissions with the expectation that recipients will submit multiple grant proposals to external funding bodies. Watch this webpage for announcement of the fall deadline.
