Formation of Steering Committee and three subcommittees

June 2007

Introductory telephone conference with NCAA Liaison and ISU Leaders

August 16, 2007

Steering Committee organizational meeting

October 1, 2007

NCAA Orientation Videoconference

October 2007 -- February 2008

Subcommittees meet, gather data, interview appropriate persons and prepare reports. Steering committee meets monthly to monitor sub-committee progress and overall progress of the self-study and review.

February 2008

Sub-committee reports are completed and submitted to the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee may ask for revisions at this time.

March 2008

Sub-committee reports are placed on the web and University and general public review and comment are invited. Information session with the coaching staffs and with student-athletes to gather reaction to the reports.

April 2008

Steering Committee reviews initial reports and comments gathered from public. The Steering Committee prepares the final report for submission to the NCAA Certification Committee no later than May 1, 2008.

May 1 - June 15, 2008

The NCAA Liaison and the Committee on Athletic Certification (CAC) reviews the self-study report and identifies the issues to be reviewed during the site visit.

October 12-14, 2008

Host the site visit of the Peer Review Team.
