Prospective Students

Experiential Learning

At Indiana State, regardless of your major, you'll be able to apply what you're learning through hands-on inquiry and research, and life-changing field experiences.

Our students program robots, conduct research alongside expert faculty, assist K-12 teachers in the classroom, analyze artifacts from a major archaeological dig, compose, dance, write and perform. They assist non-profit organizations, sample deep-ocean sediments off the California coast, and care for patients at our community health education center.

Experiential learning brings knowledge to life and gives you the kind of real-world understanding that sets you apart from students at other institutions.
