I feel like I was able to get to know people who I already knew better. I was a little disappointed at how everyone is still sticking to their core group. I think it would work better if we all had the desire to want to get to know each other instead of being so concerned with ourselves. I can definitely see how we could really get on each other's nerves if we had to depend on each other and work together for an extended time, longer than a week. I hope as time goes on we all begin to let down our barriers.
As someone pointed out, it was crazy to be in front of the capital building on what seemed to be a nice part of town and then in a couple of blocks we were in what seemed to be a rough part of the city. In fact, the whole town seems to be on alert for possible crime incidents. This is a rough city.
