Admission into the program requires the following:
* If an applicant has course work that is greater than 7 years old, he/she may still apply to the program, however the DPT Admissions Committee will review the applicant’s courses/course work to determine eligibility and approval for meeting the prerequisite requirements. This does not necessarily exclude the applicant from having to retake the prerequisites which are older than 7 years, however will ensure that the applicant has the necessary knowledge/skills to be successful in the DPT program. Prerequisite coursework is also required if the student’s undergraduate degree did not include identified foundational course. A listing of these courses is available on the program website at http://www.indstate.edu/pt. Academic advisors are also available at Indiana State University for consultation regarding undergraduate prerequisites. Official transcript evaluation is not conducted until a student has applied to the program.
The Catalog of Indiana State University is the document of authority for all students. The requirements given in the catalog supersede information issued by any academic department, program, college, or school. The University reserves the right to change the requirements at any time.
