The Chicago Service Trip is a fall program that gives students the opportunity to visit Chicago and participate in service work. While in Chicago, students explore the city in groups, learn about the history of Jane Addams and the Hull House, and complete a service project with a Chicago-based non-profit organization. In 2012, students worked with the Marillac Center on a carnival for local children. This annual trip is sponsored by the University College and the Center for Community Engagement.
If you have any questions concerning the Chicago Service Learning Trip, please contact Kara Westfall in the Center for Community Engagement, located in Tirey Hall 133B, or call 812-237-8166. Information about the Fall 2013 trip will be posted in the summer.
