March of Dimes for Babies 2012

The Center for Community Engagement is looking for ISU faculty, students, and staff to help organize an ISU team for the Wabash Valley March for Babies on April 28 at Memorial Stadium, 3600 Wabash Avenue.

The nation's premier walking event, March for Babies is held in 900 communities across the country and involves more than 7 million people. Locally, the March for Babies involves 2000 participants and raises $190,000 each year to support the March of Dimes efforts to prevent birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. Registration for the walk begins at 8:30 a.m., start time is 9:30 a.m., the walk will be 5 miles.
