Special Olympics

Volunteers, Raising the Game! This year's annual Special Olympics Indiana Summer Games are Friday - Sunday, June 1, 2, and 3 in Terre Haute, on and around the campus of Indiana State University.

This year's theme is "Raising the Game". We would love for you to help our athletes achieve their goals and have a fun and memorable weekend.

Summer Games, our premier event, offers eight sports in which athletes can compete: Aquatics, Bocce, Bowling, Cycling, Horseshoes, Powerlifting, Track & Field and Volleyball.

Last year's Summer Games had more than 2,600 participants. As you can imagine, it takes an army of volunteers to provide a top quality event for our athletes. That's where you come in - as a volunteer, you may help keep time in Aquatics, tie dye t-shirts in Olympic Town, or act as Lane Assistants in Bowling. Those are just a few of the many ways you can help.

Volunteers may use their Community Service Leave hours on Friday only.
