Sycamore Service Challenge

Join the Challenge!

Are you interested in using your time and talent to help solve problems in our local community and elsewhere? If the answer is yes, join our spring service challenge! The Center for Community Engagement invites all student organizations, clubs, residence halls and other collective groups to participate in the service challenge. Your deadline to complete this challenge is April 4. Service hours will then be tabulated and scored for awards given at Spring Donaghy Day on April 21.

The Center for Community Engagements’ intent is to provide a healthy battle for what ISU already supports…community service and outreach. Why not be recognized for your extra service!

How to submit your hours of service:

What are the categories we are recognizing?:

  • Most hours recorded by an individual freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior
  • Student organization awards (including but not specific to clubs, special interest, social Greek and academic Greek)
  • Most hours from a resident hall floor

What is your incentive:

  • Group awards will be “Community Engagement Champion" t-Shirts
  • Single awards will be Barnes and Noble Gift Certificates
  • Bragging rights throughout the year
