Utilizing your education to make a positive impact on the community is an important part of university life. When students become involved in community service work both the student and the community benefit. Volunteerism, internships, service-learning, and other community service experiences help students to develop important personal and professional skills. Community organizations also benefit from the creative energy and enthusiasm students bring to their service work.
