
The students chosen to be Community Service Officers with the ISU Police Department are selected with the hopes that a learning process can occur that will educate and prepare the student for a career of service within a criminal justice agency.
The goals of the CSO program are to provide students the opportunity to develop communications, teamwork, customer, and community service skills in a law enforcement setting. The program will allow training opportunities that will improve student's practical knowledge of the law enforcement field and enhance their marketability to prospective employers.
