                                        Recreation Therapy Emphasis Volunteer Sites

Sites with CTRS: Students may do as many hours with a CTRS as they want. It is recommended that a single site be limited to 100 hours. You may volunteer at other sites with a CTRS during the summer or on break, just let your professor know about the site. There are many other sites in Indiana, Kentucky and Illinois if you want to make the arrangements. Inquire about these with Dr. Rogers or Dr. Howard.

Related Populations sites: These sites provide experiences with populations we typically work with in RT. Since there is no RT program at these sites, the volunteer experience is limited to 20 hours per site. This 20 hour per site limit applies within the 180 RT hours. More hours at these sites may count for the remaining 100 volunteer hours of the 280 required in the major.
