Dr. Rogers completed her Ph.D. at Indiana University in the
Department of Recreation and Park Administration. She holds a secondary
appointment in the ISU Women’s Studies Program. Her academic interests include
leisure and aging and women and leisure.
Dr. Rogers is a past President
of the Leisure and Aging Section of NRPA. She also has chaired the
Research Committee of that organization and served on the Executive
Committee.
Dr. Rogers is currently the Associate Vice President for Community
Engagement, overseeing the university's mission to provide students with
rich opportunities for experiential learning, to become a more engaged
university in our local and regional communities, and become a
state-of-the art service-oriented institution of higher learning. In her
capacity of AVP, she also serves as Director of the ISU Center for Public
Service and Community Engagement and maintains her faculty appointment
in the Recreation and Sport Management department. Nancy is a recipient of the
ISU
President's Medal. |
