External Memberships
A free benefit to current fulltime, benefits-eligible ISU faculty, staff, students. Dependents/spouses have a
fee schedule
for the facility use. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours for
each summer session, and 6 hours for spring
and fall semesters.
Memberships for the general public are not
currently available.
Dependents 15 years and under must be accompanied by the parent/spouse with valid ISU ID to use the facilities.
Please be advised that after the SGA Student Recreation Center Advisory Committee Meeting in January 2010, the Family Hours have been expanded as follows:
Saturday Family Hours will now be 9am – 5pm
Sunday Family Hours will now be 12 – 5pm
When a holiday falls on a Monday, such as Martin Luther
King Day or Labor Day, Family hours will reflect the Sunday
schedule – 12 - 5 pm.
Family Hours will be in effect when
ISU has a holiday or break, such as Spring Break.
It is NOT in effect at any other time not designated by ISU.
(Vigo Co. School Corp. breaks, for instance)
The following rate are charged for daily guest patrons. Guests must be accompanied by a current eligible university member.
*This fee entitles youth to use the facility during Family Hours.
Guest Passes can be purchased at the Membership Services Counter in the SRC.
Once you purchase a membership for your spouse or dependent, you must purchase for an ISU Guest ID. (It is a separate fee). The dependent/spouse must present a valid picture ID (their driver's license) and be accompanied by the parent/spouse with valid ISU Faculty/Staff ID. Spouses may also be asked to present their marriage license.
Dependent/Spouse ID's must be requested at the Membership Services Counter in the SRC.

The following policy describes the guidelines and processes for students to activate their pre-paid memberships for the Student Recreation Center (SRC).
Eligibility: Any individual who paid the assessed Student Recreation Center fee for academic terms prior to the opening of the facility (July 13, 2009) is eligible to activate pre-paid terms. Eligible individuals include the following:
In the event that a pre-paid membership has been activated and the individual enrolls in six or more on-campus credit hours during an academic term prior to expiration of the pre-paid membership, use of the balance of pre-paid membership may be deferred until such time as the individual is no longer enrolled at a level requiring mandatory payment of the Student Recreation Center fee.
Termination Date for all Pre-Paid Memberships: Final day of the Spring Semester, 2015.
Eligible persons are required to request the SRC Membership Services department to activate pre-paid terms. Individuals will be asked to provide their Sycamore ID cards. In the event that an acceptable Sycamore ID card is no longer available one must be purchased for $15.
Your SRC membership will expire on May 7, 2012! It will remain in good
standing if you are taking
6 or more hours
of on-campus credit for Summer I and are automatically assessed the fee.
If you are not taking 6 or more hours of classes, you can:

Pay the $40/summer session membership fee
2)
Indiana State University offers single adult memberships (not family memberships) for selected individuals (such as ISU Alumni) to use recreational facilities in the HHS BUILDING (Arena). This includes activity sites for racquetball, North Gym, and the HHS Pool. See the pricing schedule. You may also renew your membership for the old facility alone, for a cost of $288/year.
ALL membership renewals must be processed at the SRC, at the Membership Services Counter.
Non-University Users are required to sign a form which states that they:
