Informal Sports
If you want to exercise or play your game, try Informal Sports, a program designed for self-directed participation for fitness and fun. The University provides indoor facilities in the arena which have become the "hub" of recreational activities.
General Info
Indiana State University students, faculty, staff, their spouses and children, (19 years and younger) may use the facilities during Informal Sports Program hours. Many of the facilities have consistent hours of availability, but some vary because of their multi-purpose use. A Sycamore picture ID card is required for admission to the facilities. Individuals who are not affiliated with Indiana State University may also use the facilities by purchasing a Non-ISU membership. 
Indoor Facilities
Indoor facilities available in the Arena for recreation include a weight room/indoor track, swimming pool, 2 multi-purpose gymnasiums, racquetball courts, and men's and women's locker rooms. A swimming pool is also available in Tirey Hall.
Include eight lighted tennis courts located north of the Arena; Marks Field offers a 400 meter synthetic surface running track for walking and jogging; two sand volleyball courts, basketball goals, a picnic shelter, a cooking grill and general activity space are available on Wolf Field. Organizations may reserve facilities at Wolf Field in the Office of Recreational Sports, Arena C119, Ext. 4097.
 Holders of a valid ISU Sycamore picture ID card may check-out sports equipment at the Recreational Sports equipment counter in the Arena, Room C111. Equipment is available for the following sports, basketball, badminton, beach volleyball, football, soccer, softball, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, wallyball, weightlifting.
Locker Rooms
Locker rooms and showers are available to all participants whenever the facilities are open for Informal Sports in the Arena. A limited number of lockers are available each semester in the general faculty/staff locker room. Day lockers are also available for use but must be vacated each day. Each participant must supply their own personal equipment, including a lock.
