How to reserve a facility? Priority Use Policy
INDOOR FACILITIES
Arena The Arena is the main indoor facility for informal recreation at ISU and includes:
A weightlifting area and an exercise area are located in the lower level of the Arena.

South Gymnasium The South Gymnasium will accommodate three full court basketball games.

North Gymnasium The North Gymnasium will accommodate 18 badminton matches, 6 basketball games, 6 volleyball matches, and 6 tennis matches. A jogging/walking track is also available that requires 8 laps for a mile.
Indoor Tennis Court Policies and Procedures November 1 – March 1 Court Schedule Saturday 10:30 am – 4:30 pm Sunday 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm

Eligibility Students, faculty, staff, spouses, dependants, and sponsored Non-University guests may use the indoor tennis courts. Children under 16 years of age must play with parent. Tennis court reservations may be made Monday – Friday for the following weekend. Reservations may only be made by ISU students, faculty, staff, and sponsored guests. Call 812 237-4099 to make a reservation. General Information All court reservations are limited to 90 minutes. Tennis/athletic shoes must be worn by participants. Shoes or other equipment that mark or blemish the floor are prohibited. Tennis racquets and balls are available for check out with a valid ISU ID card. Due to occasional special events, courts may not be available on all days. Individuals must present their ISU ID cards at the equipment counter no later than 10 minutes past the scheduled reservation time to avoid cancellation of reservation and to avoid being classified as a “no show.” One no-show will result in the loss of a reservation privilege for two weeks. Two no-shows will result in the loss of reservation privileges for 90 days. Cancellations A court may be cancelled to avoid being declared a no-show. Reservations may be cancelled Monday – Friday by calling 812 237-4099 or Saturday –Sunday 812 237-4633.
The ten racquetball courts include two glass walled courts and six of the courts will accommodate walleyball. Racquetball court use policies are available in the Office of Recreational Sports.

Wallyball Courts
Racquetball Courts numbered 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10 will accommodate wallyball.

The 25 yd pool has six-lanes. Recreation Swimming and lap swimming are permitted in accordance with the number of participants and the schedule.
Dance Rooms - B92 & B93
The Dance Rooms accommodate the martial arts, aerobic dance and other dance activities. The spring loaded floor in B92 limits its use to selected activities.
Locker Rooms
Locker rooms and showers are available to all participants whenever the facilities are open for Informal Sports in the Arena. A limited number of lockers are available each semester in the general faculty/staff locker room. Day lockers are also available for use but must be vacated each day.Each participant must supply their own personal equipment, including a lock.
*Tirey Hall Swimming Pool
The four lane 25 yard pool is located on the lower level of Tirey Hall. Swimming and lap swimming are permitted in accordance with a planned schedule.

Tennis Courts
Eight lighted tennis courts are located north of the Arena.
Marks Field
Offers a 400 meter synthetic surface running track for walking and jogging.
Wolf Field
Two sand volleyball courts, basketball goals, a picnic shelter, a cooking grill and general activity space are available on Wolf Field.
How to Reserve Facilities
Contact the Facilities Manager, Office of Recreational Sports, Arena C119, or (812) 237-4099 to reserve any of the facilities in the Arena, Wolf Field, Rec East Field, the Tennis Courts, and Tirey Hall Swimming Pool.
Priority Use Policies

Lecture/seminar classes and research offered/conducted by academic departments/faculty in the School of Health and Human Performance shall have priority use of all of the facilities in the Arena, Wolf Field, East Field and the Tennis Courts.

Intercollegiate athletics shall have second priority use of the South Gym only: and Recreational Sports shall have second priority use of all other facilities.

Other University activities shall have third priority use of the facilities. This includes sports camps.

Agencies outside the University shall have fourth priority use of the facilities. Scheduling of properties to agencies outside the University:

Is made with the reservation that if it becomes necessary to use a scheduled room or hall on the same day as an outside agency that priority will have to be given to the University. Consequently, reservations are made subject to cancellation if the University finds it necessary to use the University room or hall.

Requires certificate of insurance that names "Indiana State University Board of Trustees as additional insured for the entire period of the reservation" and that includes a minimum of one million dollars general liability/central aggregate coverage.
