Carrie is serving as a full time Certified Athletic Trainer in the ISU Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Clinic. She works in conjunction with area physicians, clinic staff, and ISU Athletic Trainers to provide physical therapy services to ISU athletes and the community. She is also responsible for organizing and facilitating marketing opportunities for the clinic.
Carrie is originally from Fithian, Illinois. She received her undergraduate education with a dual major in Athletic Training and Communications at Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois. She earned her Master’s Degree in Health and Human Performance from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Upon obtaining BOC certification in 2008, Carrie worked for ATI Physical Therapy in Plainfield, Illinois for two years as a Clinical/Outreach Athletic Trainer. She gained experience in Workman’s Compensation and Marketing, in addition to patient care in the clinic and at the high school. In 2010, Carrie moved to Marshall, Illinois to be closer to family. She worked as a Physician Extender in Terre Haute for a short time, and joined the ISU family in January 2011. She is excited at the learning opportunities ISU offers, and looks forward to making a difference in the ISU family and surrounding communities.
