Residence Halls Schedule:

FALL SEMESTER 2012

FRIDAY, AUGUST 17

All halls will open for Fall Semester housing. Students will be assigned specific days and times regarding the move in process. First contract meal served is lunch, Friday August 17.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 21

No Show Date.  Room must be claimed by 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, or student is considered a No show, and the room will be assigned to another student.

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 3

Labor Day. No day or evening classes. All University offices will be closed.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 20

Halls close at 6:00 p.m. for Fall Break.  Last contract meal served; Sycamore and Lincoln Dining close on Friday November 16 after lunch. Credits can be used in the commons begenning after lunch on November 16 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25

Halls reopen at 12:00 noon.  First contract meal served will be Sunday evening in the HMSU Commons.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15

Halls close at 5:00 p.m. Contract meals continue through Saturday, December 15, 2:00 p.m. in the HMSU Commons.

 

SPRING SEMESTER 2013

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 2

Halls open 12:00 noon. First contract meal served will be Wednesday lunch in HMSU Commons.

MONDAY, JANUARY 7

No show date.  Room must be claimed by 6:00 p.m., Monday, January 7, or student is considered a No Show, and the room will be assigned to another student.

MONDAY, JANUARY 21

No Classes, day or evening. Martin Luther King commemorated holiday. All University offices will be closed.

FRIDAY, MARCH 8

Halls close at 6:00 p.m. for Spring Break. Last contract meal served will be Friday evening in the HMSU Commons.

SUNDAY, MARCH 17

Halls reopen 12:00 noon.  First contract meal served will be Sunday evening in the HMSU Commons.

SATURDAY, MAY 4

Halls close at 5:00 p.m. Contract meals continue through Saturday, May 4, 2:00 p.m. in the HMSU Commons.

NOTE:  Housing is available during Fall, Semester and Spring Break at an additional daily charge in selected Residence Halls.
