Second Harvest: America's Second Harvest is a nationally sponsored program that utilizes surplus nutritional inventory from local food service outlets. Our Wabash Valley affiliate, Terre Haute Catholic Charities, stops by the Dining Halls and the Commons Kitchen daily, to retrieve various surplus items. On average, about 70 pounds per day is donated for help with local feeding programs, soup kitchens, and food pantries.
