Applying for Fall
Semester: $150 payment is due by May 15, even if financial aid is
anticipated. If you apply after May 15, the $150 payment will be
due at the time of contract along with the $20 processing fee. |

Applying for Spring
Semester: $150 payment is due by December 1, even if financial aid
is anticipated. If you apply after December 1, the $150 payment
will be due at the time of application along with the $20 processing
fee.
Housing and roommate
assignment letters are mailed in early June and early August, dependant upon
application date.

$150 payment is due July
1. Failure to make this payment on time will result in cancellation
for non-payment.

Residence Halls Schedule:
FALL
SEMESTER 2008
SATURDAY, AUGUST 16
All halls will open
for Fall Semester housing. Students may claim their rooms after 9:00
a.m. First contract meal served is lunch, Saturday, August 16.
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20
No show date.
Room must be claimed by 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, or student is
considered a No Show, and the room will be assigned to another student.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1
Labor Day, no day or
evening classes will meet. All University offices will be closed.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10
Fall Break. No
classes, day or evening.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 25
Halls close at 10:00
p.m. for Thanksgiving Break. Last contract meal served will be Tuesday
evening in the HMSU Commons.
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 30
Halls reopen 12:00
noon. First contract meal served will be Sunday evening in the HMSU
Commons.
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12
Halls close at 6:00
p.m. for Semester Break for all residents except those required to
participate in commencement. Contract meals continue through Saturday,
December 13, 2:00 p.m. in the HMSU Commons.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13
Halls close
immediately after Commencement.
SPRING SEMESTER 2009
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 7
Halls open 12:00 noon.
First contract meal served will be Wednesday lunch in HMSU Commons.
MONDAY, JANUARY 12
No Show Date.
Room must be claimed by 6:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, or student is
considered a No show, and the room will be assigned to another student.
MONDAY, JANUARY 19
No Classes, day or
evening. Martin Luther King commemorated holiday. All University
offices closed.
FRIDAY, MARCH 6
Halls close at 6:00
p.m. for Spring Recess. Last contract meal served will be Friday
evening in the HMSU Commons.
SUNDAY, MARCH 15
Halls reopen at 12:00
noon. First contract meal served will be Sunday evening in the HMSU
Commons.
FRIDAY, MAY 8
Hall close at 6:00
p.m., for all residents except those required to participate in
Commencement. Contract meals continue through Saturday, May 9, 2:00
p.m. in the HMSU Commons.
SATURDAY, MAY 9
Halls close
immediately after Commencement.
NOTE:
Break housing will be available at an additional daily charge in selected
Residence Halls.
