  • Member Requirements:

    • Apply and be accepted into the LLC
    • Reside on one of the LLC floors in Sandison Hall
    • Attend weekly meeting – Monday 5:30 – 7:00 PM
    • Participate in a Community Partner Project
    • Engage in classroom discussions & share personal experiences regarding leadership
    • Participate in LLC study hall
    • Willingness to do self-exploration and learn new leadership skills
    • Respond to monthly journal questions on leadership
    • Participate in community service and fund raising projects
    • Attend LLC activities, events and activities
    • Stay in good conduct & academic standings
    • Serve as a good role model to the ISU community
    • Help recruit new members

  • Cost Involved

    • The LLC doesn’t charge any membership dues.  However,  LLC members must pay to have a background check done at ISU.   The current cost is $28.00.
    • The additional cost of belonging to the LLC is that members are required to live in Sandison Hall
            o Sandison is premium housing with: Air conditioning in student rooms, walk-in closet and private bathroom.
            o Sandison cost an additional $30/week over the basic cost of living on campus
    • During the academic year the LLC members may be asked to pay all or part of the cost of t-shirts or sweatshirts. These are purchased for the group to wear while marching in the ISU Homecoming Parade.
