Change of Major/Minor/Degree Type

Before you begin, please check your DARS to review your current degree and advisor information.

Special circumstances:

If you are declaring a secondary education major, you must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
If you are currently in the Academic Opportunity program, before you declare an academic major you must have completed two semesters in good academic standing, or one semester with a 3.0 GPA.
If your request is to add a major, minor, or degree from another College at ISU (NHHS, Technology, Education, or Business), your request will be forwarded to the dean's office of that College for review and approval.
Students on academic probation require special permission to change their major. If you are on probation, your request will be considered, but it may not be approved.
