BUSINESS EDUCATION, INFORMATION, AND TECHNOLOGY (BEIT) SCHOLARSHIPS
For majors in Business Education and Information Design and End-User Computing
Please read each scholarship description to determine eligibility.
NELLIE AND JOHN BLEDSOE SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:
1. Graduate of Terre Haute South Vigo High School or Terre Haute North Vigo High School.
2. Prefer student who, in the opinion of the Program Coordinator, has interest and potential in Distributive Education.
3. Should have completed 60 semester hours of course work.
IRMA EHRENHARDT SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:
1. Preparation for a career in office administration or administrative services support (such as end-user computer support, office administration, or secretarial).
2. Evidence of outstanding academic performance.
3. Although recipient(s) will be selected annually, committee may choose to renew award for a previous recipient.
BENJAMIN AND SUSAN KRAUSE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:
This award shall be given to a person of sophomore or higher classification majoring in the area of office or secretarial administration (including the two-year program) or business education and who has an overall cumulative scholastic index of at least 2.75 and an index in the major of 3.0 or higher. The individual is to be one who sets high ethical, scholastic, personal, and professional standards for himself or herself and strives to achieve them.
ELSIE E. TAYLOR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP IN BUSINESS EDUCATION
Criteria:
1. Excellent academic achievement in the field of major studies.
2. Good personality and human relation skills.
3. Active membership and leadership in activities which would enhance teaching capabilities.
4. Commitment to business teacher education.
NEIHART BUSINESS EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria:
A deserving student majoring in Business Education.
