MIDWEST CONSORTIUM SCHOLARSHIP

3. Admission deadline: March 1
4. A limited number of Midwest Consortium Scholarships are awarded each year.
5. Most majors eligible; however, not open to nursing majors
6. Not open to distance-only or returning ISU students
7. All incoming freshmen who are admitted to the University by March 1 will be automatically considered for this scholarship. No additional application is required.

For consideration, candidates must be residents of Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, or Wisconsin, must be earning a College Prep diploma, and have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students receiving this scholarship must be entering ISU with a fall semester. This scholarship is not available to students starting at ISU with a spring semester. Residents of these states who do not meet the March 1 admission deadline may qualify for the Incentive Scholarship.

Fees for Midwest Consortium Scholarship Recipients
Fall 2013—Spring 2014

Recipients of the Midwest Consortium Scholarship are charged a reduced tuition rate. Tuition rates for 2013-2014 are not expected to be set until summer 2013; however, using the 2012-2013 rate, a student with this scholarship saved approximately $7,500 annually from the full out-of-state tuition cost. This scholarship is renewable for a total of four years of study.
