STARS SCHOLARSHIP

1. $5,000 a year
2. 12 awards available in combination with transfer student awards
3. Renewable for up to one additional year
4. Open to Indiana and out-of-state residents
5. Not open to international, distance-only, or returning ISU students
6. Admission deadline: April 1
7. Scholarship application deadline: April 1
8. Requirements (listed below) must be satisfied by April 1.
9. Completed FAFSA deadline: March 10
10. To be awarded this scholarship, students must be entering ISU fall semester.

The Sycamore Technology Academics and Recruitment Scholarship (STARS) is a competitive award funded by the National Science Foundation for academically talented, but financially disadvantaged students majoring in Computer Engineering Technology or Mechanical Engineering Technology.

For consideration for this award, candidates must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale and at least $5,000 in financial need. Selection is highly competitive and based upon academic and personal accomplishments.
