SYCAMORE UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (SURF) AWARD
The Sycamore Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) Award will enable students to work alongside faculty in hands-on research. To be eligible for consideration, students must from be from Indiana and have a 3.5 cumulative GPA and 1000 SAT (combined math and critical reading) or 22 ACT (composite). In addition, students must attend an on-campus research day on Saturday, February 22, 2014.
* Students selected for this award will receive a $2,500.00 merit-based scholarship at the beginning of the fall semester applied to their student account. Up to an additional $1,500.00 can be earned by doing hands-on research. A typical research experience would require 10-15 hours weekly. In addition, students will have opportunities for continued research during the summer between their freshman and sophomore years.
