The Center is also responsible for the advisement of any student (undergraduate or graduate) interested in teaching in any of the following areas: Chemistry, Earth Science, Life Sciences, Physics, and Physical Science.
To graduate with an undergraduate degree you will need to complete 35 hours as a minimum of General Education and 56-64 major hours depending upon which areas you have selected. The professional education requirement is 33-35 hours.
There is a high demand for science teachers in middle/junior high and high schools!
