GOALS OF SENCER :

SENCER’s goals are to: (1) get more students interested and engaged in the learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) courses, (2) help students connect STEM learning to their other studies, and (3) strengthen students' understanding of science and their capacity for responsible work and citizenship.


 To accomplish these goals, SENCER promotes collaboration between students and local communities in the belief that “community” is created and sustained by focusing on common purposes, understanding people’s motivations, and meeting the needs of the community.
