Diversity Week
Diversity Week is another event SGA sponsors. The idea for Diversity was implemented as a way to help create unity
on Indiana State University's campus. The week-long event is filled with activites, special guest speakers, awareness
programs, and several other diversity issues, which help to create awareness among students and faculty of the racial
issues around the world.
Diversity Week recognizes the differences amoung people of the ISU community, as well as the differences of people
around the world. Throughout the week, SGA helps to coordinate events associated with the differences in religion,
cultures, races, sexual orientation, and disabilities. Members of SGA, along with other volunteers help pass out
ribbons and other informational literature to help increase awareness on diversity and its effects on ineqality
across the campus.
Diversity Week is another great way to get involved with SGA and show your support for the issues associated with
diversity on Indiana State University's campus. Contact SGA to see how you can get involved with this great cause
or submit any ideas you may have for the events of this year's Diversity Week celebration!
