SGA FRESHMEN COUNCIL
Freshman council is a program that focuses on the development of its
members who are all first year students at ISU. Any student who is
involved and completes the program will be more acclimated to campus’
activities and resources. The members of Freshman Council will also have
the opportunity witness how Student Government operates.
Students involved in Freshman Council will participate in community
service, fundraising, campus programming, and leadership development.
Goals of Freshmen Council
- To provide students an opportunity to develop and
become future leaders of the Indiana State University
campus.
- To acquaint members to campus activities and
resources.
- To establish a group that will better unite the
freshman class.
- To develop leadership skills that will help members
become productive and successful individuals on Indiana
State University’s campus and community.
Application Deadline has passed
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- You are required to attend all Freshman Council
meetings that occur regularly on Tuesdays at 7pm.
- Graduated high school with a 2.5 or higher GPA
- You are required to attend the Freshman Council
retreat that occurs in the fall semester.
