Student Health Center Staff
The Student Health Center has a dedicated, professional staff of
practitioners who have chosen college health to work with young adults. They
believe health choices have a significant impact on the retention in college
and success for student's entire lives.
Director
Frances M. Drake, R.N., B.S., M.S., graduated from Ohio
Valley Hospital School of Nursing in Steubenville, Ohio. She has a bachelor
of science degree from Kansas State University and a Master's in Community
Health & Safety Management from Indiana State University. She has been
employed at the SHC since 1988. Fran has a background in psychiatric
mental health nursing.
Accounting Services Assistant
Debbie Morecraft has been employed at Indiana State University since
1980. She is responsible for the overall ordering of goods and
supplies. She keeps a record of expenses, pays bills and monitors
income for the Director. Debbie graduated from ISU with a B.S. in
Criminology.
Office Assistant III/ Receptionist
Donna Bell is from Paris, Illinois and started working at
the Student Health Center in October 2002. She works in the Business
Office answering the main switchboard, making appointments and is the
Cashier.
Office Assistant III/Medical Records Clerk
Lisa Burba is from Terre Haute, IN, and she is a graduate
of Indiana Business College in Medical Coding. She is responsible for
transferring medical records as requested by our clients. She has outpatient,
clinic experience.
Office Assistant II/ File Clerk
Angela Smith is from Terre Haute, IN., and has medical
records experience. She is a file clerk in the Student Health Center.
Angela is currently attending IVY Tech and planning to study nursing.
Office Assistant III/ Coding Specialist
Jeanetta Lynn Wallace is from Marshall, Il., and a graduate
of Indiana Business College in Medical Coding. She codes diagnosis and
procedures for billing purposes. She is a backup to the
switchboard and making appointments.
Medical Director/Physician
Kevin J. Loeb, D.O., FACOEP, FACEP, FAAEM
Dr. Loeb graduated with a Doctorate of Osteopathy
Medicine from Midwestern University-Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine
in 1994. His residency and fellowships were in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Loeb is ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified.
Nurse Practitioners
Deborah Daugherty, R.N.C.S., F.N.P., graduated from Indiana
State University where she completed both her undergraduate degree and the
Family Nurse Practitioner program. Deborah is BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life
Support) certified.
Clinic Nurse Supervisor
Bridget Gaddis, R.N., B.S., graduated from Indiana State
University. She has been at the ISU Student Health Center since September 9,
1999. She formerly worked in a hospital setting and currently provides
direct supervision to the daily clinic operation.
Registered Nurse's
Terri Bell, R.N., A.S.N. graduated from ISU School of Nursing in
1983. She spent many years traveling the United States as a Traveling
Nurse and in the U.S. Navy. Terri has specialized in Oncology and
Correctional Nursing in the past. She is planning on continuing her
education here at ISU. and enjoys the chance to work with our student
population.
Marybeth Dye, B.S., A.S.N., R.N. is a graduate of the
University of California, Irvine and Lakeland College in Mattoon, Il. She
has a Bachelors Degree in Biology and a nursing degree. She grew up in
Minnesota. She has worked hospital medical surgery nursing and home
health care. She currently monitors the Tuberculosis Surveillance
Program at the Student Health Center and is a certified instructor by the
Indiana Department of Health.
Kelly Hamilton Hosier, R.N., A.S.N., graduated from Indiana
State University. She has work experience in medical and oncology
nursing at both Terre Haute Regional Hospital and Union Hospital.
Kelly is also ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified.
Mark A. McAnally, R.N., A.S.N., graduated from Indiana State
University in 1992. He has previous work experience as a nurse at a
maximum security prison prior to coming to the Student Health Center.
His other work experience includes, EMT and helicopter mechanic for the U.S.
Marine Corps. Mark is also ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
certified.
Muteta Maloba, R.N., B.S.N., graduated from Indiana State
University in 1985. Previous work experience includes labor and delivery at
Clay County Hospital, post-partum at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, and
supervisor of nursing at Southwood Health and Rehabilitation in Terre Haute. She specializes in workers compensation at the Health Center.
She speaks three languages:, English, French and Swhaili. Muteta is also
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified.
Kathy Willis, R.N. graduated from Vincennes University with
an Associates Degree in Nursing. She worked in Medical-Surgical nursing
, Home Healthcare and many years in Correctional Nursing. She started
at the ISU Student Health Center on January 2, 2007 and is very pleased to
be here.
Laboratory Technician
Amy Edwards, MLT (ASCP) is a 1994 graduate of Ivy Tech
College with an Associates Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. She was
a Medical Lab Technician for seven years at the Terre Haute Medical Lab,
Union Hospital before joining the Student Health Center February 2000.
Radiology Technologist
Autumn Drake, RT(R) is a 2004 graduate of Ivy Tech College
with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Radiology Technology.
Prior work experiences includes routine radiology, trauma modifications, cat
scan and surgery procedures at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, in Brazil, IN.
She has been with the ISU Student Health Center since October 16, 2006.
