The CPSP currently offers the following professional development, technical assistance and resources related to assessment: Trainings and Technical Assistance
DIBELS is a curriculum based measurement (CBM) tool that can be used to evaluate early literacy skills for all students. Training in the foundations and administration of DIBELS for benchmarking and progress monitoring purposes is available upon request for K-2 staff and additional school personnel as a full-day training. Training and facilitated sessions on the analysis of DIBELS benchmark and progress monitoring results is available upon request for K-2 staff and additional personnel as full- or half-day trainings scheduled to coincide with benchmark assessments. Analysis emphasizes interpreting DIBELS data at the district, school, class, and individual student level to inform instruction and intervention decisions and guide professional development planning.
