Application Instructions

You will be considered for graduate Degree Seeking admission based on the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate GPA or previous graduate GPA

  • GRE or GMAT test scores (if required by the program)

  • Recommendation letters

  • Statement of Purpose

  • All applicants for the Clinical Mental Health Counseling, School Counseling (M.Ed.), School Psychology, and Communication Disorder, programs should click here to visit the Department of Communication Disorders and Counseling, School, and Educational Psychology website and/or contact the program coordinators prior to submitting any application materials.

    Your admission is evaluated based on the strength of your application. It should be noted that some academic units may have higher and/or additional admissions requirements. Indiana State University grants regular, conditional, provisional admissions status.

    Below are the steps you need to follow to complete your Degree Application process:

    1. Apply Online here or Download Print Application.

    2. A non-refundable check, money order, Visa Card, Master Card, U.S $35.00 exactly must accompany the application form, payable to Indiana State University. Your application cannot be evaluated until the fee has been received. Returning ISU students in no more than two years will be exempt from the $35.00 application fee.

    3. Official undergraduate and or/ graduate transcripts

    4. GRE scores

    5. GMAT (MBA required)

    6. Statement of Intent

    7. Recommendation Letters

    8. Signature form (for online applicants only)

    9. Any additional application materials required by your department.

    10. All applicants for the Psy.D. program or the M.A./M.S. in psychology should visit the Department of Psychology website and/or contact the program coordinators prior to submitting an application.
