staff council scholarships

The ISU Staff Scholarship was originally established in 1988 to provide financial assistance for ISU staff who choose to continue their education.  Through the continuing hard work and generosity of ISU employees, the endowment provides several scholarships each academic year.

The number of scholarships awarded is determined by the amount of money available for disbursement, but no scholarship will be less than $600 for the academic year.  Each recipient will receive $300 for use during the fall semester and $300 for the spring semester.  Any unused scholarship dollars will remain in the income portion of the endowment for future scholarships.

2014

  Debra Rae is a Senior, majoring in History and minoring in             Political Science. I previously earned my Associate in Arts degree from Eastern Florida State College in 2007. I am mom to a wonderful, precocious 2 1/2 year old little boy - Ford. I am originally from Florida and have been in Terre Haute for 2 years   this summer.




 

Pam Chamberlain is the Administrative Assistant to ISU’s Business Engagement Center. Pam is a senior studying Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.  She is a member of Sigma Alpha Pi National Society of Leadership and Success and was recently inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta National Communication Association honor society.  Her goal is to graduate December 2015 to satisfy her intellectual curiosity and pursue professional advancement within the University.



Andrea Boehme is the Circulation Manager at the Cunningham Memorial Library.  Starting this Fall, in the Ph.D program for Educational Administration specializing in Higher Education Leadership, Andrea will work towards her ultimate goal of becoming the dean of a library. This will be Andrea's second degree from ISU as she was recently granted a Master of Science from the CIMT department. 







Wendy Cox is a Senior Health Administration major. Along with working in the University College Dean's Office, Wendy hopes to complete her degree in the Spring of 2015 and apply to graduate school at Indiana State University in the Fall of 2016. Wendy has two daughters, one an ISU alumni, and one a Sophomore Pre-Med major.
