Belief Zone

Mission

The mission of Belief Zone is to educate students, faculty, and staff on how to interact with individuals that have different religious beliefs. The program provides participants with tools to understand differing cultures and be able to start and have the difficult conversations surrounding religious beliefs. This program will assist in making the Indiana State University campus a safe and inclusive environment for people of all religious backgrounds.

Goals

• Provide education focused on religious beliefs in order to facilitate fuller and deeper conversations between people
• Ensure that all people feel safe, secure, and included on campus when expressing or practicing their religious beliefs
• Create a way for people of different religions to learn about each other in a safe, affirming environment
