CCIS programs are offered in over 30 countries and each program has a United States sponsoring institution acting as a liaison between the student and host institution abroad. As a member, ISU students are able to use all financial aid to participate and in all cases benefit from a reduced price. Program costs vary depending on the location, and tend to be reasonable and affordable given the location.
What are the requirements?
Most programs require a minimum GPA of 2.5, several higher; some programs require junior standing
How competitive is this program?
All qualified students are able to participate. Several locations require early applications due to housing space.
How do I apply?
CCIS applications are available from the Coordinator for Study Abroad
What is the deadline for submitting an application?
Each program sets its own deadline; for most April 15 is the deadline for fall and summer; October 15 for spring programs. Be sure and check the details on the CCIS site: www.ccisabroad.org
What about payment?
A bill will be sent from the Study abroad Office for tuition and fees. In many cases you would be required to pay for the housing costs and program deposit upon notification of official acceptance in order to save your space.
