The Indiana State Females in Technology student organization celebrated their 10th annual FIT for the Future event on March 3, 2017. This fun-filled day of career exploration focuses on opportunities for females in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Over 150 high school students and teachers attended the event hosted and facilitated by over 30 Indiana State technology students representing 9 different student organizations. A highlight of the event was “Networking with Professional Women” during the afternoon luncheon and panel discussion. Fifteen female alumni representing a variety of STEM career fields returned to campus to share their experiences and advice for success. Five of our accomplished female technology faculty also joined the networking to share their diverse experiences in both industry and academic STEM fields. Learn more about our professionals»
