NSF Award for “I-Corps L: Advancing Diagnostic Skills Training in Undergraduate Technology and Engineering Curriculum”
PI/Co-PI: Yuetong Lin, ECET Department;W. Tad Foster, HRDPT;A. Mehran Shahhosseini, AETM; and M. Affan Badar, AETM; Entrepreneurial Lead: Jason Dean, HRDPT; and Mentors: Susan Powers,Academic Affairs, and W. Tad Foster, HRDPT have been awarded a National Science Foundation grant of $50,000 for support of the project entitled "I-Corps L: Advancing Diagnostic Skills Training in Undergraduate Technology and Engineering Curriculum.” Using the business model and entrepreneurial approach of building start-ups, this project will try to develop and implement a strategy to scale the effective instructional practices established in the previous NSF TUES project (PI: Professors George Maughan and Tad Foster; Co-PI: Professor A. Mehran Shahhosseini). Through the rigorous process of customer discovery and customer validation, the team will identify and work with potential clients and partners to accelerate, in a sustained manner, the innovation in learning for widespread adoption, adaption, and utilization.
