Currently the following placement examinations are offered: Foreign Language Proficiency Examinations Mathematics (COMPASS) There is no charge to students who wish to take placement exams. To schedule a placement exam, contact the University Testing Office at (812) 237-7666 or testing@indstate.edu   Foreign Language Profiency Examinations < top > All entering students who are exempt from the Basic Studies Foreign Language Requirement - but who wish to continue language study - are required to take the Foreign Language Placement Test in order to determine the level of language course work most appropriate for them. Students may receive elective credits for their knowledge of the language.
