Students—and graduates— of the Community College of the Air Force are eligible for special transfer programs, including bachelor degree-completion programs offered on the Indiana State University campus—and via distance learning.

Benefits include maximum credit transfer, streamlined advisement, financial aid, veterans benefits, and transfer scholarships. Of special note are bachelor degree-completion programs in technology management and human resource development offered entirely via distance learning.

On-Campus Programs

CCAF students (and graduates) can transfer associate degree credit to more than 80 majors offered on the ISU campus, including bachelor degree-completion programs that ensure maximum credit transfer.

 

Distance Programs

Human Resource Development
Bachelor Degree-Completion Program (Via Distance Learning)

The human resource development (HRD) bachelor degree-completion program is open to all eligible applicants who have completed an A.A.S. in most fields offered by the Community College of the Air Force. The full list of applicable A.A.S. degrees is detailed on the AU-ABC site. The HRD program prepares professionals for education in post-secondary and proprietary institutions, industry, business, and government agencies. Graduates are competent in planning, conducting, and managing education, training, and other human resource development activities. All CCAF courses completed in approved degree programs will transfer to ISU and count toward graduation. The entire program can be completed via distance learning. Students also have the option of completing this program on the Indiana State University campus, located in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Technology Management
Bachelor Degree-Completion Program (Via Distance Learning)

The technology management bachelor degree-completion program is open to all eligible applicants who have completed an A.A.S. in most technology-related fields offered by the Community College of the Air Force. The program prepares technical managers by combining both management and technical content from courses completed for both the A.A.S. and B.S. degrees. All CCAF courses completed in technology-related degree programs will transfer to ISU and count toward graduation. The entire program can be completed via distance learning. Students also have the option of completing this program on the Indiana State University campus, located in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Other Distance Learning Programs

In addition to the technology management and human resource development programs listed above, the University offers the following distance learning programs:

  • Certificate programs in corrections, driver education, law enforcement, and private security and loss prevention
  • Bachelor degree-completion programs in business administration, career and technical education, criminology and criminal justice, electronics technology, insurance and risk management, mechanical engineering technology, and nursing.
  • Graduate programs in driver education, education, electronics and computer technology, health and safety, human resource development, nursing, public administration, and technology management

 

Credit Transfer

The University is partnering with the Community College of the Air Force to formalize transfer plans for selected majors. These plans enable students to complete a specific CCAF associate degree and receive credit towards a specific ISU bachelor degree.

In addition to transfer plans, ISU accepts transfer credit as individual courses or blocks of courses.
