Student Responsibilities

If you are currently attending another school and you want to transfer to Indiana State University, plan a course of study to maximize the number and application of your transfer credit.

ISU CAS (Course Applicability System) is a FREE online tool that allows you to gain important information on how courses from other institutions will transfer to Indiana State University. Running Planning Guides on this site will allow you to gather information on the remaining classes that you need to enroll in to complete a degree at ISU. Click here to go to ISU CAS to learn more, sign up, and get up to the minute course equivalencies from ISU to other Colleges and Universities.

Note:  Some Indiana and Illinois schools have been completed in CAS.Other Universities will be added as the transfer rules are completed.  Check back soon or contact Joe Taylor at wtaylor3@isugw.indstate.edu if you have any questions about course equivalencies from a school not listed in CAS.

Once you are ready to transfer to Indiana State University, complete your application and request your transcripts be sent to Indiana State University.  Your transfer courses cannot be evaluated until we receive an official copy of all of your transcripts.

Keep ISU informed as to whether you are accepting or rejecting an admission offer.

You may contact the ISU area coordinators located throughout Indiana.  They will be able to help you in all steps of the transfer process.

Check the general education tables to plan the selection of your courses to transfer that will meet the requirements of the degree program you are currently pursuing and the degree program you wish to pursue at Indiana State.
